drinks. The workbook and other materials for the workshop will be
available there. We will arrange for transportation of small groups on personal cars.

Tuesday, Day 2: Morphology.
8:30 – 16:30, Lectures and practicals. Morphological character coding, Cladistic character coding, More
powerful searches, Diagnosing troublesome results.
16:45, Group official picture. Grounds of the Botanical Garden.
17:30, directly from INECOL to
Restaurant for Group dinner. We will arrange transportation in several
cars. Please plan so that we could leave directly to the Restaurant.
Wednesday, Day 3: DNA sequences.
8:30 – 16:30, Handling DNA sequences (GenBank, Muscle), Alignment.
Thursday, Day 4: Dynamic Homology.
8:30 – 16:30, Dynamic homology. Direct Optimization and Alignment. (POY).
Friday, Day 5: Likelihood and Bayesian methods.
8:30 – 16:30, Model-based phylogenetics. Model-based Exercises, Garli, jmodeltest, MrBayes,
TreeView.
